The international conference “Act for Heritage”  took place between 24-26 October 2019 in Nicosia. The conference was co-organized by the Office of the Commissioner for Volunteerism and NGOs, the Cyprus Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Council of Europe aiming to promote the Council Of Europe Convention on Offences relating to Cultural Property within Governments and Civil Society. Active Zone Outdoor president Niki Karoulla and member Margarita Petrou attended the conference and contributed as volunteers during the conference. They provided organizational support and coordinating support during the workshops of the conference. Our members received a certificate by Mr Giannis Giannakis the Commissioner for Volunteerism and NGOs and his office.
