allowing them to become active citizens;
(b) highlight the significance of outdoor physical activities as a means to enhance mental health and wellbeing of young people;

(f) develop further co-operation of partner promoter organisations in the field of outdoor education including ERASMUS+ projects.

Activities

Team building outdoor activities and team sports will be the main tools of this project. A team sport such as sailing will be οne of the sports in which a group of individuals, on the same team, work together to accomplish an ultimate goal.
Outdoor activities and playful methods will eliminate social, cultural and language barriers among youngsters and encourage them to work together to achieve collaboration, team work, trust and confidence and that will foster their self-confidence and motivate them to actively participate in their local community and therefore in the society we are living in. Young people while working together in the context of non-formal education, it is expected that their behaviour, views and believes will be positively affected, especially having the opportunity to interact in an intercultural environment.
