Active Zone Outdoor in cooperation with AKTI Project and Research Center and Anna Tselepou, AKTI’s Networking Expert, organized a beach clean-up activity at Sodap Beach at Paphos. Mrs Tselepou presented to the group the methodology and the procedure followed by AKTI when a beach clean-up is organised and explained the significance of recording and reporting the amount and the materials from the waste. George Dimitriades President of Public Health Department of Paphos Municipality and Giannis Stavrinou the Coasts’ Officer visited our group during the activity and congratulated Active Zone Outdoor for the initiative and the contribution to keep Cyprus seas and beaches clean. Mr Demetriades concluded by expressing Paphos’ Municipality willingness to participate and support Active Zone Outdoor’s actions and projects.
